An extension with a complete renovation and rework of an existing Dallas home.
This home was in excellent condition but like most homes of its era, poorly laid out initially and then it had been extended without attention paid to either the original or new layout. We bought this home, removed, reworked and/or relocated rooms in the entire house, raised the main area ceiling height to over 13’, relocated bedrooms (inc 2 closets each to all of the secondary bedrooms), created a new completely new kitchen with our signature view of the pool (for safety and seeing kids in the pool at any point) and relegated the old to a butlers kitchen, created a covered outdoor living area, created a new and larger laundry, added a study, created a new home theater within the extension and enlarged the new garage to allow 2 trucks of any size be parked within and still have storage space.
The attention to detail, the volume created and approx 5000 sqft of living that flows and has connection whilst still retaining privacy ALL on one level is unique in Dallas.
